HOMEOWNERS

FOR

HOA  REFORM, Inc.

Lynn G. Walshak, a native Texan who sojourned in Georgia for 32 years, moved to Houston early 2003. She is an owner resident of Memorial Club Townhouses and has been on the Board of Directors of the Association for three years. This is her first experience being member of an HOA. She was a Librarian specializing in federal government information, at Georgia Southern Univ for 30 years and retired in spring 2000 as Professor Emeritus. She is involved in community activities, serving on the Board of Directors of LWV Houston and was editor/coordinator of the Voters Guide for Nov 7, 2006 election. She is concerned about: the recording of homeowners assessments, taking of funds without due process so that the homeowner can appear to be delinquent and filed on for foreclosure; the lack of use of standard rules by HOA Board; inappropriate closed meetings; and abuses about open records.
