TEXAS HOMEOWNERS FOR HOA REFORM, Inc. |
|
Betty Smith has lived in the Willowbend subdivision for 44 years
and was a member of the Willowbend Neighbors United - the organized neighbors
who succeeded in blocking an HOA takeover attempt. Betty has served as
a Director of the Willowbend Civic Club and is presently the
Vice-President. She is most concerned about the property laws that have
been enacted that deny Texas homeowners their Constitutional rights,
especially Property Code 204, and she is against HOA foreclosures on
homesteads. She firmly believes that the abuses of HOAs must
stop. Betty graduated from George Washington University with a degree in
industrial accounting and is employed as an accountant. She has two sons and
five grand children. |
